Our annual appeal occurs late in the year and allows individuals to make additional contributions to the HSAHS to maximize their tax deductions. Last year, our annual appeal provided nearly one-third of our revenue for the year.

Bringing History to Life Campaign

The Historical Society is embarking on plans to shape our future through the preservation of the historic 1892 Shay House and the 1886 old City Hall building as well as by creating an endowment to build a solid fiscal foundation for our organization. We are currently in the silent phase of a comprehensive campaign that will launch to the public in Spring 2022.

Gifts In Memory or In Honor of a Loved One

The Historical Society welcomes gifts to recognize the person(s) of your choice in this special way and will acknowledge your donation in our print newsletter at the beginning of the new year. Notification will also be sent to the designated person or family member. These contributions support our operating budget unless otherwise specified by the donor.
